You can unsubscribe from Repair and Delivery Support, Repair and Delivery Support with Cloud or Repair and Delivery Support Wide with Cloud on the Device Compensation Service cancellation screen of My au. 

Once you unsubscribe, you cannot rejoin until the purchase of the next device.

Important notes

  • If you unsubscribe in the middle of the month, the monthly fee will be calculated on a daily rate

  • If you proceed after 8:00 p.m. on the last day of the month, it will be considered as a procedure on the 1st of the following month, and a fee for one day will be charged

  • For povo1.0 customers
    • Customers who purchased their device at au: You can cancel it by following the steps below. Please start from step 1

    • Customers who purchased their device at other places: It is not possible to cancel it by following the steps below. Please contact the au Style/au shop or our customer center
  • This page uses images from My au to explain, but the same operations can be performed on My UQ mobile.

Steps

    Search for My au on a search engine and tap on "My au Login" [My auログイン] from the displayed options.

    Tap on "Web Login" [Webでログイン].

  • 3

    Enter your au ID and tap on "Next" [次へ].

    If you are already logged in with your au ID (if this screen is not displayed), proceed to step 6.

    Enter your password and tap on "Login" [ログイン]

  • 5

    If this screen is displayed, tap on "Click here" [こちら].

    If this screen is not displayed, proceed to step 6.

  • 6

    Tap on "Smartphone/Mobile Phone" [スマートフォン・携帯電話].

    • For customers with contracts other than au or povo2.0, scroll the screen up from the bottom and tap on "Device Compensation Service" [端末補償サービス] . Proceed to step 10.

    • For customers who have canceled au, tap on "Procedure for canceling Device Compensation Service" [端末補償サービス解約の手続き]. Proceed to step 10.

    Tap on "Contract details/Procedure" [ご契約内容/手続き].

    Tap on "Contract information" [ご契約情報].

    Scroll the screen from bottom to top, confirm the service to be cancelled in the "Device Compensation Service" [端末補償サービス] section, and tap on "Change" [変更].

  • 10

    On the "Device Compensation Service Cancellation" [端末補償サービス解約] screen, tap on "Cancel" [解約する].

    • If the au ID login screen appears, follow the screen instructions to enter the password and login → tap on "Do not change au ID (Agree to terms)" [au IDを変更しない(規約に同意)] → tap on "Login without changing au ID" [au IDを変更せずにログインする] → on the "Device Compensation Service Cancellation" [端末補償サービス解約] screen, tap on "Cancel" [解約する].

    • If there are multiple services under the same au ID, select the contract (au mobile phone number) that is subscribed to "Device Compensation Service" [端末補償サービス] by tapping on it → "Select"[選択] tap on "Cancel" [解約する] on the "Device Compensation Service Cancellation" [端末補償サービス解約] screen.

    Confirm the "Important notes" [ご注意事項] and tap on "Agree and proceed" [同意して次に進む].

    Also, confirm this "Important notes" [ご注意事項] and tap on "Next" [次へ].

  • 13

    Choose the method for checking your contract details between "E-mail" [Eメール] or My au/My UQ mobile.

    (If you choose E-mail, enter your email address.)

    Tap on "Apply with this information" [この内容で申し込む].

  • 14

    The cancellation procedure has been completed.

    • If you apply after 8:00 p.m., it will be reflected after 9:00 a.m. of the next day.
