Changing the settings on your smartphone may resolve the issue.

From the home screen, go to "Settings" [設定] → turn off "Airplane Mode" [機内モード].
Android
From the home screen, go to "Settings" [設定] → "Network & Internet" [ネットワークとインターネット] → turn off "Airplane Mode" [機内モード].
iPhone
From the home screen, go to "Settings" [設定] → "Mobile data" [モバイル通信]→ turn on "Mobile Data" [モバイルデータ通信].
Android
From the home screen, go to "Settings" [設定] → "Network & Internet" [ネットワークとインターネット] → "Mobile Network" [モバイルネットワーク] → turn on "Mobile Data" [モバイルデータ].
Please check the Malfunction Detection.
If you cannot make calls
Tap on "Android smartphone/tablet" [Androidスマートフォン/タブレット] > "Voice/Calls" [音声・通話] > "Cannot make calls" [通話ができない], tap on, and select the applicable status to check how to deal with it.
If you cannot use data communication
Tap on "Android smartphone/tablet" [Androidスマートフォン/タブレット] > "Mobile Data" [通信] > "No internet connection" [ネットがつながらない], tap on, and select the applicable status to check how to deal with it.
There may be a temporary malfunction, so please turn off the power and then turn it back on (restart).
