I would like to know how to switch the line for a device I contracted through the online shop

Customers who have upgraded their device online, switched from UQ mobile, or signed up for MNP can switch their line from the Order History page on the online shop.

After the procedure, the line switch will be completed in about 30 minutes, and you will be able to use your new device.

Line switching reception hours

Procedures are available during the following hours, excluding system maintenance hours.

For Device Upgrade and Switching from UQ mobile

from 7:00 a.m. to 11:15 p.m., and from 1:00 a.m. to 2:15 a.m. (all year round)

For MNP (Switching from another company)

from 9:00 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. (all year round)

Items to prepare in advance

In the case of a device change

  • au ID/Password
  • au Phone Number

In the case of MNP or switching from UQ mobile

  • Mobile phone number you plan to switch
  • Order Number given by the online shop
  • "Order History Confirmation Password" [ご注文履歴の確認用パスワード], automatically issued upon order completion
  • The "Order Number" [ご注文番号] and "Order History Confirmation Password" [ご注文履歴の確認用パスワード] are also included in the "Order Confirmation" [ご注文内容の確認] email.
  • All of the indicated amounts exclude tax unless otherwise specified.
