It is an acronym for International Mobile Equipment Identifier.
It may be necessary to check the network usage restriction status of your mobile phone or smartphone, or when using device compensation services.

If you enter *#06# on the phone number input screen of your mobile phone or smartphone, a 15-digit number will be displayed.
This number is the IMEI.
There are some models that do not display it using this method.
