What is a PIN unlock code (PUK code)?
It is the number required to unlock the PIN code if it is locked after you enter it incorrectly 3 consecutive times.
Important notes

If you enter the wrong PIN unlock code (PUK code) 10 consecutive times, you will need to go to the shop to have your SIM card reissued.
- A handling fee for SIM card reissuance of 3,500 yen (3,850 yen including tax) will be charged.
