I would like to set up Biometric Authentication for my au ID
You can set it up through the au ID Membership Information site.
For details, please refer to the information below.
Important notes
- To make changes, you need to log in with your current au ID and password.
- If the au ID is linked to au, povo 1.0 or UQ mobile (5G compatible plan), you will need to turn off Wi-Fi and connect via 5G/4GLTE to complete the procedure.
- To make changes, you need to setup fingerprint authentication on your device in advance.
Steps

Access the au ID Membership Information Site and tap on "Log in by entering your au ID" [au IDを入力してログイン].

Enter your au ID and tap on "Next" [次へ].

Enter your password and tap on "Login" [ログイン].

Enter the verification code [確認コード] sent to the phone with the fingerprint authentication set up, and tap on "Next" [次へ].
- If this screen is not displayed, proceed to Step 5.

Tap on "Next" [次へ].
- With this setting, you will only be able to log in on the device used for the setup. (Some devices are not supported.)

"Biometric login setup" [生体認証によるログイン設定] is now completed.
