【Data Charge】I want to know how to purchase

You can complete the procedure from the Data Charge site.

The payment methods available are au Easy Payment and credit card.

Please see below for detailed steps.

Access the Data Charge site and tap on "Log in with au ID" [au IDでログイン].

Enter your au ID and tap on "Next" [次へ].

Enter your password and tap on "Login"[ログイン].

Select and confirm your "Charging Plan, Timing and Frequency" [チャージプラン／チャージタイミング／チャージ回数], then tap on "Proceed to payment" [決済手続きへ].

If you have combined your au ID, make sure you are charging to the correct line.

If you want to change the payment method or use your points, tap on ①② in the image.

You can pay with "credit card" [クレジットカード] or "Combined with the mobile monthly bill" [通信料合算支払い].

If you select "Combined with the mobile monthly bill" [通信料合算支払い] , you can use your Ponta points for the full amount or a specified number of points.

Enter the 4-digit PIN code set when you signed the contract and tap on "Pay" [支払う].

The data charge is now completed.

Regarding "Charging plan" [チャージプラン] :You can choose how much you want to charge at once.
Regarding "Charging timing" [チャージタイミング] : You can choose whether to use scheduled charging timing.
"Right now" [今すぐ] :Without using scheduled charging, it will be applied immediately after payment.

"Data amount or expiration date (scheduled charging)" [容量もしくは有効期限（予約チャージ）] :The data will be reserved and automatically charged at the following timing.

When you first charge your device, when the remaining amount of your purchased data is less than 1% or when the data validity period has expired.
Regarding "Charge frequency" [チャージ回数] : If you set the charging timing to "Data amount or expiration date" [容量もしくは有効期限], you can select the number of times to automatically charge data. If you set the charge timing to "Right now" [今すぐ], you can only select "Once" [1回]
Example: If you purchase 1GB and select "2 times" [2回]
1GB x 2 times = 2GB (2,200 yen (tax included)) will be calculated as purchased

The second charge will be automatic if your remaining data is few
