If you use the same au phone number as before applying for au Email Portability, you can continue to use your au email address.
After canceling au Email Portability, please re-acquire the email address. Refer to below for detailed instructions.
(The email data cannot be transferred. You must re-acquire an email address within 540 days after canceling au Email Portability.)
You can also continue to use au Email Portability for a monthly fee of 330 yen (tax included).

Emails sent and received using the au Email Portability will be deleted from the email server after the email address is reacquired.
Please back up or transfer the necessary emails in advance.
Access the "My Page" of au Email Portability.
Scroll the screen and tap on "Cancel Service" [サービスの解約] at the bottom.
After confirming the email address that you want to cancel, tap on "Proceed to confirmation screen" [確認画面に進む].
Check the notes and tap on "Agree to the notes and cancel" [注意事項に同意して解約する].
When the "Cancellation Complete" [解約完了] screen is displayed, the cancellation of au Email Portability service is done.
If you have backed up your emails using the Android au Email app, please restore your emails.
Otherwise, please proceed to STEP4.
On the email address change screen, re-acquire the email address used when using au Email Portability.
Please see below for instructions on how to change your email address.
If the button of "Change Address and Spam Settings" is not displayed on the side menu of the au Email app, you need to delete the data in the app.
