I would like to know how to change from a 4G LTE contract to a 5G contract

  • If you want to change to eSIM

    Procedure from My au or iPhone

    When changing from SIM card to eSIM, you can change to a 5G contract using My au and iPhone.

  • If you want to continue using SIM card

    In case of procedures at the shop

    Your SIM card will be replaced.

    In the case of procedures by calling the Customer Center

    SIM card will not be replaced.

     

    It may take some time for the process to be completed at the customer center. If you are in a hurry, we recommend visiting

    the shop.

    If you are using iPhone 7 or iPhone SE (1st generation) or earlier, you need to replace your SIM card at the au Style/au shop.
