【au Email app】I would like to know how to deal when I get a "Reception Failure" [受信失敗] notification or when reception is delayed and I cannot receive in real-time
If you select "Do not allow" [許可しない] for background activities in the initial setup of the au Email app, the following issues may occur.
- You will be notified with "Reception Failure" [受信失敗] and cannot receive new emails
- Emails are received delayed rather than in real time.
In that case, the problem can be improved by setting "Battery Usage Management" [バッテリー使用量の管理] in the au Email app to "Unlimited" [制限なし].

Launch the "Settings" [設定] app.
- The way the app list is displayed differs depending on the manufacturer and device.

Tap on "App" [アプリ].

Tap on "au Email" [auメール].
- If you do not see au Email, tap on "Show all ●● apps" [●●個のアプリをすべて表示] and search for "au Email" [auメール].

Tap on "Battery" [バッテリー].
- It may be displayed as "Denchi" [電池] on some devices.

Tap on "No restrictions" [制限なし].

The checkbox for "No restrictions" [制限なし] has been checked.
The settings are now complete.
