【Anshin Navi】Do I need to download the app as the searcher, or the person being searched?

【Anshin Navi】I would like to know if it is necessary to download the app as a searcher (Parent or guardian)

If you are using the web version of Anshin Navi, there is no need to download the app.

If you are using the Family Anshin Navi app as a Searcher, downloading the app is necessary.

Before registering for Anshin Navi please check the eligible devices and create an au ID.

Anshin Navi has a monthly usage fee of 330 yen (including tax) for searchers.
Customers subscribed to Ponta Pass or Ponta Pass Light optional can use it for free.

For those being searched, downloading the app is required.

Please download the Family Anshin Navi app and use it as someone being searched.

Some devices already have the app installed, so please check how to use the app on each device.

If the person being searched is an iPhone or Android user

iPhone users can search for Family Anshin Navi in the App Store, and Android users can search in Google Play, or download it from the link below.

If the person being searched is using Mamorino 4, 5, or 6, or a watch-type device

The app for Anshin Navi (for those being searched) is pre-installed under the name "Genzai-chi" [げんざいち].

Please register the phone number of the searcher in the contacts before using the service.

If the person being searched is a 4G LTE mobile phone user

Press the Center Key (OK) → "Anshin Anzen" [安心安全]→ then proceed to Anshin Navi (Be Searched) [安心ナビ(探される)].

If the person being searched is a Simple Phone user

While on the standby screen, press the Center Key → "Use au Services" [auのサービスを利用する]→ then proceed to "Use Anshin Navi" [安心ナビを使う].
