There have been multiple reports of malicious emails and text messages (SMS) that falsely claim to be from our company, leading users to unrelated websites and prompting them to input personal information.
There are 2 ways to deal with it: Do not access any contact information (such as URLs or phone numbers) listed in suspicious emails and text messages (SMS), or set up a spam email filter.
Please see below for more details.
By accessing those contact information (such as URLs or phone numbers) listed in suspicious emails, you may become a victim of fraud.
Please be careful not to contact the sender by clicking on any URL links nor calling them.
If you click on a URL and a webpage is displayed, do not input any personal information, and close it.
For inquiries regarding KDDI billing, please check directly on My au.

If you do not have any emails that you particularly want to receive, and you have never set up a spam email filter
Please apply the recommended settings.
If you have emails you wish to receive, such as from credit card companies or online shopping websites
If you only want to receive emails from family members or acquaintances
Set the address book receive settings to "Receive from address book only" [アドレス帳のみ受信]
If you receive spam emails from a specific email address
Register the email addresses of the senders you want to block in the rejection list settings.
If you still have emails that you want to reject, you can easily register them from the au email app with one-touch designated rejection.
For au one net email
Please set the email filters according to your email usage.
Set up "Spam messages/Calling block" [迷惑メッセージ・電話ブロック] app.
The "Spam messages/Calling block" [迷惑メッセージ・電話ブロック] app displays warning about spam text messages (SMS) and calls, such as fraudulent billing attempts, and when receiving calls from public institutions or companies, it will automatically display the caller's name based on Yellow Pages information.
